A brainstorm for the Open Door Philanthropy Podcast’s sixth season focused on rural philanthropy.
When it comes to philanthropy a lot of the focus and attention goes to foundations, organizations, and donors based in large cities. Much of the US, and indeed the world, still live in rural areas and have unique philanthropic issues and concerns. For this reason, we have chosen to focus on rural philanthropy for our upcoming sixth season of Open Door Philanthropy, the highly-rated philanthropy podcast hosted by Unfunded List Founder Dave Moss (available wherever you get your podcasts).
Moderated by Dave with guests Vichi Jagannathan, co-founder of the Rural Opportunity Institute and Eryn Baldrica-Guy, a first time Unfunded List Evaluator, and Assistant Director of Grants at California Rural Legal Assistance. Fans of the Open Door Philanthropy Podcast Unfunded List evaluators, philanthropy professionals, and anyone else with an interest or experiences with rural philanthropy are encouraged to attend. There will be plenty of time for questions, answers, and discussion.
The Open Door Philanthropy Podcast, now recording our 5th season, is available wherever you get your podcasts.
