Unfunded List is a 501c3 that is driven to demystify philanthropy through education and feedback.

Unfunded University
Unfunded University includes courses, keynote lectures, symposia and other educational materials about philanthropy, fundraising and nonprofit management.
Our faculty and department chairs are the best in their field. Unfunded University’s online materials can be found on the Open Door Philanthropy Podcast or in our Library. We do events on the campus of esteemed institutions of higher learning. The inaugural Unfunded University was held at George Washington University in April of 2019.
Who should attend?
Anyone looking to learn while contributing to the growth of startup nonprofits and anyone with an interest in learning more about grant proposals, startup nonprofits, philanthropy or social enterprise. This event caters to both newcomers to the nonprofit and philanthropic space and experts wanting to challenge their skills.
The Unfunded (anyone who has submitted a proposal to us) can attend for free. The event is usually free for our partners as well. In April, GW Students were able to attend for free.
- Access to some of the best and brightest in the nonprofit field
- Breakfast and lunch – and plenty of coffee!
